Helensvale State High School is a co-educational 8 to 12 school located at the corner of Helensvale Road and Discovery Drive at Helensvale on the Gold Coast. Our school is a large school with an enrolment of approximately 2000 students. Our students enjoy the benefits and opportunities that flow from a large size while still maintaining a sense of belonging essential in all great schools.

Our size allows us to offer a very broad range of junior and senior subjects. Academic students not only enjoy this range of school subject opportunities but also benefit from structured, ongoing extension opportunities, together with relationships with local universities. High numbers of school based traineeships and subjects that allow students to gain national certification, are features of our school.
Helensvale is an attractive low set school with landscaped grounds and a rich array of resources including a strong computer infrastructure and excellent sporting and cultural facilities.
